Patanjali honey passed scientific test, research published in Elsevier’s International Research Journal
Patanjali has claimed that the scientific study conducted on its honey has now been published on the global platform. This research has been published in Elsevier’s prestigious journal Applied Food Research. According to the company, this achievement strengthens its claim of quality and purity.
Patanjali says that it gives top priority to quality and consumer safety in all its products. Under this commitment, various samples of honey were tested.

On this occasion, Acharya Balkrishna said that Patanjali keeps its promises. The objective of the company is to free the country from adulteration. He said that Indian food products are often viewed with suspicion in the international market. But this research shows that high level scientific research is possible in India also. He called it not only the success of Patanjali but also a matter of pride for the entire Indian FMCG industry.
What does research say on the purity of honey?
According to the company, the study found that no extraneous sugars, synthetic syrups or unwanted chemical residues were found in Patanjali honey. This indicates strict monitoring of the supply chain and production process. Quality checks are carried out at every stage from raw material procurement to final packaging.
25 batches tested using advanced techniques
Dr. Anurag Varshney, Chief Scientist of Patanjali, said that 25 different batches of honey were examined in this study. Modern technologies like HPLC, HPTLC and UHPLC were used for testing. According to the report, all the batches met the standards set by FSSAI.
Also, uniformity in batch-to-batch quality was also observed. Dr. Varshney said that providing safe and pure products is the priority of the company. Keeping this goal in mind, global testing standards are adopted.

According to the company, Patanjali honey is 100% pure, natural and unheated (raw), produced from bee nectar and successfully passes the FSSAI tests.
