Patna NEET Student Death Case: Brother’s mobile and student’s belongings seized in Jehanabad, threatening pamphlet thrown at home

Patna: In connection with the death of NEET student, the CBI team reached the student’s house in Jehanabad on Sunday. A team of 20 officers reached the student’s house in Shakurabad police station area in five vehicles. The team of IG level officers interrogated the family members for about three hours. An unknown person also threw a threatening letter at the student’s house in Jehanabad in which it is written that if you become too loud, you will be taken away. The family is under police protection and despite this the incident of throwing this threatening letter has happened.

 

In the case of death of NEET student in Patna, CBI searched Shambhu Hostel for three and a half hours, took five bags of documents.
On Sunday, the CBI team directly reached the student's house in Jehanabad. The parents, brother, sister-in-law and grandmother present there were made to sit in separate rooms and interrogated for about four hours. The team collected information on every small and big aspect so that the real cause of death could be known. During this time, the local police also remained alert and the media was kept away from the house.

Brother's mobile and student's belongings confiscated

After investigation, the team took with them the student's books, notebooks, pens, clothes, bag and even her scissors. CBI has also seized the mobile phone of the student's brother, whose call details and data will be examined. Just one night before the arrival of CBI, the SIT of Bihar Police had also come to collect the belongings, but the family members had refused to hand over anything to them.
The team reached Shambhu Girls Hostel on Saturday

After the arrival of the CBI team in Jehanabad, there is a discussion among the people in the village that the CBI investigation will enable fair disclosure of the case. Earlier, the CBI team had reached Shambhu Girls Hostel. SIT officers and Case IO Secretariat SDPO Dr. Annu were also present with the team. During the investigation that lasted for about three and a half hours, the hostel room where the student lived was thoroughly searched.
What happened till now?

On January 6, the student was found unconscious in Shambhu Hostel, Patna, who died during treatment on January 11. The family was not at all satisfied with the Bihar Police investigation (SIT) and demonstrations took place till Jantar Mantar in Delhi regarding the case. After immense pressure, the state government recommended a CBI investigation on January 31 and now two days ago, the CBI has registered a case and started its action.
