Patna NEET student death case: Shambhu Hostel owner Manish Ranjan not granted bail

Big news has come to light in the Shambhu Girls Hostel case of Patna. Building Honor Manish Ranjan also did not get relief from the court on Saturday (February 28) and his bail plea was rejected. After the hearing that lasted for more than two hours in the court, the next date has been fixed for March 2. The court also strongly reprimanded the CBI, which is investigating this case, for not imposing the POCSO Act.

The initial investigation was done by Roshni, the then SHO of Chitragupta Nagar police station. After which the SIT of Patna Police took over the case. After the case was registered by the CBI on February 12, the matter has taken a serious turn and the investigation is continuously intensifying.

According to the information, during the hearing the court asked, what investigation have you done till now regarding Manish Ranjan? Do you need Manish Ranjan? You have not invoked POCSO Act in your case. You have a case of attempt to murder. On this you answer whether you need Manish Ranjan or not?

The court also asked the same question to the SIT. The court said what is the allegation against Manish and what is the evidence against Manish Ranjan. SIT, while replying to the court, said that now we do not need Manish Ranjan. Because, now CBI is investigating.

According to the magazine’s report, Manish Ranjan is in jail for the last 43 days. On January 14, the third day after the death of the student preparing for NEET, the police arrested Manish and presented him in the court. After this the court sent him directly to Beur jail. The surprising thing is that in these 43 days, the police did not take Manish on remand and interrogate him even for a day. Many important questions related to the incident are still unresolved, but the investigating agencies have not yet interrogated him directly.

Also, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav has demanded several times to take Manish Ranjan on remand and interrogate him, but despite this the police did not take any action. Now the investigation of this entire matter is with CBI. From which it is expected that the matter will be investigated impartially and in-depth.
