Patralekhaa fat-shamed amid first appearance after motherhood: ‘Not everyone can be Kiara Advani, Alia Bhatt’

Power couple Patralekha and Rajkummar Rao welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on November 15, 2025. The couple embraced parenthood on their fourth wedding anniversary.

Ever since her baby’s birth, Patralekha has been busy with motherhood duties and wasn’t seen at award functions or events, while Rajkummar was always present. Months after delivering her first child, Patralekha was spotted at the private screening of her film Toasterwhich is streaming on Netflix India. Patralekha is also the producer of the film.

Recently, she made a public appearance but didn’t pose for the media, while Rajkummar, who is the male protagonist in the movie, posed and interacted with the paps. As the videos went viral, Patralekha was brutally fat-shamed, as she had gained weight post-pregnancy.

Netizens called out her post-partum body and compared her to Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, and Kiara Advani, who got fit within months after delivering their first child. When a section of netizens started trolling and posting harsh comments on paparazzi pages, fans came out in support, saying that everybody is different and not everyone can be like Alia, Deepika, or Kiara.

The viral video shows Patralekha avoiding the paparazzi and walking ahead quickly. She wore a white and red co-ord set.
