Preliminary information is coming out that the air ambulance which was traveling from Ranchi, Jharkhand to Delhi has met with an accident. It is reported that the accident took place in Chatra, Jharkhand. Until this accident happened, Pawan Hans helicopter crashed on Andaman Islands on Tuesday morning. Shortly after the flight, it crashed into the sea. There were seven people on board the helicopter and they have been rescued safely. The helicopter was reportedly forced to crash-land in the Andaman Sea due to a technical glitch. The pilot managed to make a careful crash-landing. Seven people, including two crew members, have been successfully evacuated.
Rescue teams immediately reached the spot and evacuated the crew and passengers. The report states that helicopter was going to Mayabandar from Port Blair. The pilot became aware of the technical fault only after the flight. In such a situation, there was an option of crash-landing at sea. A Pawan Hans spokesperson said the incident took place around 9:30 am. The helicopter made a short landing. Passengers and crew members suffered minor injuries, but no one was seriously injured.

A day before the plane crash at Chatra
An Air Ambulance traveling from Ranchi to Delhi crashed in the Khasiatu Karam Tand forest of Simaria police station in Jharkhand’s Chatra district on Monday. Seven people died in it. These include two pilots, a doctor, a nurse, a patient and their two colleagues. According to preliminary information, the Beechcraft (BE9L) VTAJV aircraft had taken off from Ranchi to Delhi, but lost contact shortly after take-off.
