He told that there was a time when he was thinking of going on the path of Naxalites, but an advice from elder brother Chiranjeevi changed the direction of his life.
were full of anger in adolescence
During an interview, Pawan Kalyan told that between the age of 17 to 21, he was very upset seeing the injustice and conflicts happening in the world. At that time, apartheid in South Africa, conflict in Sri Lanka, Khalistan movement and many big issues of the world had a deep impact on him. He said that it was during this time that the thought of taking up arms and joining the Naxalite movement came to his mind.
Also attended some meetings
Pawan Kalyan told that he had also attended some public meetings and he felt that this was the right way to fight against injustice. However, with time he realized that he was not happy from within and was constantly living in anger and confusion.
Chiranjeevi changed his thinking
According to Pawan Kalyan, his elder brother Chiranjeevi one day asked him a question which made him think. Chiranjeevi asked that even if family responsibilities were on his shoulders at this time, would he have chosen this path? Pawan said that he had no answer to that question and from there he started reconsidering his decision.
Even today brother is considered a hero
During the conversation, Pawan Kalyan said that the biggest inspiration in his life is Chiranjeevi. He said that whenever he stands with his brother, he forgets that he himself is a big star.
