‘Instead of water in every house, feces in every house’: Kheda got angry on Indore deaths, said – people are dying and CM is singing.

Congress Leader on Indore water crisis deaths: 18 deaths due to contaminated water in Madhya Pradesh’s clean city Indore have raised the political temperature. Senior Congress leader Pawan Kheda made a scathing attack on the government in a press conference in Bhopal. He said that in the city which got the title of number one in cleanliness eight times, today people are forced to drink dirty water and are losing their lives. Kheda sarcastically said that deaths are taking place in Indore and on the other hand, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is singing songs in fun.

Pawan Kheda exposed the ambitious Har Ghar Jal Yojana of the Central and State Government and said that in reality it has become Har Ghar Mal Yojana. He claimed that the tender for replacement of the pipeline was passed in July 2022, but due to commission, the work was not started. The result was that water mixed with feces came out of people’s taps and innocent people lost their lives. He alleged that this was a result of sheer administrative negligence and corruption, due to which the general public lost their lives.

Poison in air, water and tongue

Congress leader Pawan Kheda raised the question as to what happened to the loan of $200 million which was received from the Asian Development Bank in 2003. He directly asked the government whether the water samples and the victims were tested. If cholera bacteria have been found in the investigation, has the Central Government and WHO been informed as per the rules or is the data being hidden? Referring to Delhi and Gujarat, Kheda said that along with the air and water in the country, the tongues of BJP leaders have also been poisoned.

Everyone is responsible from Mayor to PM

The Congress leader also targeted Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and said that when journalists ask questions, they resort to misbehavior and abuses. When the mayor and collector went to the union office, they gave a sharp reaction and said who is Mohan Bhagwat who is summoning the officials. Kheda clearly said that not only the local administration but everyone from the Prime Minister to the Chief Minister is responsible for this tragedy. Describing the compensation of Rs 2 lakh being given to the victim’s families as inadequate, he said that the government is running away from its accountability.
