Paytm Third Quarter Reports: The net loss of Paytm's parent company One 97 Communications has reduced to Rs 208 crore in the third quarter (October-December) of the financial year 2024-25. Paytm's loss in the same quarter a year ago was Rs 220 crore.

In the October-December quarter, the company's revenue declined by 36 percent to Rs 1,828 crore. A year ago in the same quarter i.e. Q3FY24 it was Rs 2 thousand 850 crore. Revenue is money received from selling goods and services.

Paytm had a net profit of ₹930 crore in the second quarter, with the sale of movie ticketing business making a one-time contribution of ₹1,345 crore to the company's net profit. Excluding this amount, Paytm had a loss of Rs 415 crore.

Paytm shares fell more than 9 percent in 5 days

After the announcement of the results, Paytm shares closed at 894 with a slight fall of 0.68 percent on Monday. It has increased by 11.42 percent in the last 5 days, 97.59 percent in 6 months and 18.27 percent in one year.

At the same time, this year it has declined by 5.42 percent and 9.48 percent. The market cap of the company is Rs 56 thousand 940 crore.
