PCB gets questioned by Ex-England skipper as Gary Kirsten resigned 6 months after joining

Former England captain Kevin Pietersen questioned Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) since the white-ball coach of Pakistan team resigned between developing an issue with the country’s cricket board in less than six months of being appointed at the end of April this year.

Kevin Peterson went on to ‘X’ to question the decision by PCB to leave Gary Kirsten.

According to PTI’s reliable source, Test coach Jason Gillespie informed PCB that he is available to see the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia beginning November 4, but he is not looking for a permanent post as the white-ball coach.

Gillispie has informed the board they should look for a replacement for Kirsten for the white ball games in Zimbabwe and onwards,” he added.

Though the board did not give any specific reason for this sudden decision, source confirmed that all this happened because he was not involved with the announcement of the board for the skipper of the white-ball format and the squads for Australia and Zimbabwe tour.
