PCB sends Pakistani players to USA for power-hitting training

Mike Hesson said that the selected players of the Pakistani team will be sent to USA for special power-hitting training. This plan will also help in the recovery of players suffering from injuries and will provide them with different methods of coaching and an environment with great performance. However, it has not been decided which players will be sent. It is being assessed now.

Pakistani coach confirmed

Mike Hesson told Cricinfo, “We are sending some players to America. There are experts in power hitting there and we are considering some options. We have some players who have been suffering from injury for a long time, while there are some whom we want to introduce to different techniques of power hitting and a different learning environment. So that they can learn something new and get new ideas by staying in one place for 4 months.

PCB preparing to change the old treatment and fitness structure of Pakistan cricket

Earlier this year, British physiotherapist Dr Javed Mughal was made the medical director of the Pakistan team. In a press conference with PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi earlier this month, he said that there can be no compromise with fitness in professional sports. He also said that PCB has prepared an excellent and strong system for investigation and testing of players, which we have started implementing on all the players.
