PCB announced, Mohammad Rizwan will be Pakistan's new ODI and T20I captain

Pakistan Cricket Board on Sunday, October 27 announced Pakistan's ODI and T20 team for Australia and Zimbabwe tour. After some time, he gave a big surprise to Pakistani fans. Actually, PCB has announced the name of the new white ball captain of Pakistan who is going to be none other than Mohammad Rizwan. It is noteworthy that Salman Ali Aga has been made the new vice-captain (ODI and T20) of the team.

Pakistan Cricket has shared a tweet from its official X account through which they have informed the whole world that now Mohammad Rizwan will be the new ODI and T20 captain of the team. PCB Chairman Mohammad Naqvi also gave a statement on this. He said, 'The team selectors suggested that Rizwan should be handed over the captaincy. The National Cup mentors have also given the same opinion. We also talked to Rizwan, after which we decided that everyone should support Rizwan and Salman in the matter of captaincy. Only then will our team achieve success.

It is noteworthy that Mohammad Rizwan has so far played 74 ODIs, 102 T20 and 35 Test matches for Pakistan. This wicketkeeper batsman also has the experience of leading the Pakistani team at the international level and apart from this, he also has the experience of captaining in Pakistan Super League and domestic tournaments, which is why the PCB has expressed confidence in him by handing over the captaincy to him. In such a situation, it will be very interesting to see whether Pakistan can perform better under the captaincy of Rizwan or not.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan will make its first tour to Australia under the leadership of Mohammad Rizwan. Here he will play three ODIs and three T20 matches. The ODI series will start from 4th November and the last match will be played in Perth on 10th November. After this, the T20 series will begin in which three matches will be held from November 14 to November 18.

After this, the Pakistani team will tour Zimbabwe where Rizwan will play the ODI series, but has been rested from the T20 series. The ODI series will start from October 24 and its last match will be played on November 28. The T20 series will start from 1st December and the last match will be played on 5th December. Pakistan will play all the matches in Zimbabwe in Bulawayo only. It is noteworthy that Pakistan is also going to play three ODI and three T20 matches in Zimbabwe.
