According to the latest report of Cricbuzz, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently written a letter to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). PCB has said in this letter that if the Indian team does not want to stay in Pakistan due to security reasons and wants to return back to Chandigarh or New Delhi after every match, then it will help them. A PCB official has confirmed this. This offer has been given keeping in mind the gap of one week between India's last 2 matches.

According to the report, during the visit of Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to Islamabad, Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had discussed about the Indian team going to Pakistan. PCB's hopes have been raised after this visit, although no official statement has been issued on this yet. BCCI has already made it clear in this matter that the decision to send the Indian team to Pakistan is only in the hands of the Indian government and whatever the government of the country says will be done.
