PCIFF 2026: Director Rohan Kanwade of the internationally acclaimed film ‘Sabar Bond’ will be awarded the ‘PCIFF Youth Inspirational Cine Icon Award 2026’ at the award ceremony of Pimpri Chinchwad International Film Festival 2026. Apart from this, various awards like Best Feature Film, Best Documentary, Best Short Film, Best Feature Film, Best 60 Second Short Film will be given in this function.

A special premiere of the film ‘Krantijyoti Vidyalaya-Marathi Medium’ will be held on 5th March 2026 at 3 pm in ‘Pimpri Chinchwad International Festival 2026’ organized in collaboration with Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and in association with Pimpri Chinchwad Film Society and Gatha Film Society. After that, the festival will conclude with the presence of legendary artists. Akurdi Pradhikaran at c. d. Mayor Ravi Landge has appealed that this program will be held at Madgulkar Theater and maximum citizens should take advantage of it. Pimpri Chinchwad International Film Festival 2026 started on 3rd March and the prize distribution of this festival will be concluded on Thursday, 5th March at 6.30 pm by Mayor Ravi Landge.

Union Minister of State for Co-operation and Civil Aviation Muralidhar Mohol, Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Guardian Minister of Pune District Sunetra Pawar will be present in this program. State Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharne, Legislative Council Deputy Speaker Neelam Gorhe, Legislative Council Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode, State Urban Development Minister Madhuri Misal and MPs Medha Kulkarni, Supriya Sule will also be present.
