‘Peddi’ to premiere on this OTT after theaters

As per GQ magazine, “Peddi” which performed fantastically in the theaters will premiere on the OTT platform, Netflix. This fact has also been indicated in the opening credit of Buchi Babu-directed film, and the OTT partner is Netflix. Usually, big movies are released on an OTT platform after the span of 8 to 10 weeks from the theatrical release. Hence, the sports drama film starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor is likely to release on Netflix between July 16 and July 30, but, an official announcement regarding its OTT release has not yet been made by the makers.

Ram Charan’s pan-India release, “Peddi” depicts the story of a proficient village boy who makes ends meet by engaging in local cricket and wrestling matches. The hero, “Peddi” ventures out in quest to put the name of his remote hometown on the world map by taking part in the National Wrestling Championship. Even though the goals that he aims are demolished because of the malice of few, he does not lose hope in achieving the same.

Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of Achiyamma in the movie “Peddi,” the film which showcases the journey of a sportsperson and her devotion towards putting her village on the map. The fans were deeply unhappy to witness the portrayal of Janhvi’s role. Along with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, the film features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, Boman Irani, and Ravi Kishan in the lead roles.
