The movie, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is going to be released in theaters on June 4, 2026. This is a sports drama Telugu film. For this, the producers had demanded special shows in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and increased ticket prices. It has been allowed only in Andhra.

Actually, the producers had approached the Andhra Pradesh government to organize special shows in the state and increase the ticket prices. According to the report of Nav Bharat Times, permission has been given for this in the state. The premiere show of the film ‘Peddi’ will be on 3rd June at 8 pm. The price of tickets has been kept at Rs 600. With this, permission has been given to increase single screen tickets by Rs 100 and multi screen tickets by Rs 125 for the first week of the film’s release. Permission has been granted to run 5 shows every day. Increasing the ticket price and increasing the number of shows will increase the collection.

Case stuck in Telangana

According to media reports, Peddi fans in Telangana are waiting for updates. Telangana High Court has refused to give directions to the state government on price hike for ‘Peddi’. In the first week of the film’s release, the makers of Maitri movie had filed a petition to increase the ticket price. The matter is already pending in this matter. He argued that there are many cases pending in the first court. Immediate decision in this matter will create confusion. After this the producers have withdrawn the petition.
