Directed by Louis Leterrier, the R-rated comedy was originally released in theaters on March 11, 2016, in the United States. It centers on two estranged brothers who reconnect after nearly three decades apart. Nobby, a football-loving family man living in Grimsby, has spent years searching for his missing sibling, Sebastian. When they reunite, Nobby discovers that Sebastian is now a highly trained MI6 agent in the middle of a sensitive operation.

However, their meeting quickly leads to complications when Nobby unintentionally disrupts a high-profile mission involving a global threat. The incident results in Sebastian being wrongly implicated, forcing both brothers to go on the run. As they attempt to clear his name and prevent a larger crisis, the story follows their efforts to navigate a dangerous situation.

The film stars Sacha Baron Cohen as Nobby and Mark Strong as Sebastian. Supporting cast members include Isla Fisher as Jodie Figgs, Rebel Wilson as Dawn, Penélope Cruz as Rhonda George, and Gabourey Sidibe as Banu, among others.
