Pentagon's new report sheds light on the mysteries of UFOs, has the truth about aliens come to light?
Obnews Tech Desk: Is there life anywhere other than Earth? Do aliens really exist? Are the mysterious phenomena seen in the sky UFOs? Countless such questions have been arising in the minds of common people for the last few decades. While humans have gone into space, stepped on the moon and efforts are on to reach other planets, the mysteries related to aliens and UFOs have not been exposed yet.
A new report recently released by the Pentagon has further complicated these questions instead of solving them. Important facts related to UFOs and aliens have been revealed in this report, but no conclusive answer has been found.
What is UFO?
The full name of UFO is “Unidentified Flying Object”, i.e. a flying object which has not been identified yet. It is seen flying in the sky in the form of some unknown object, but there is no information about its true nature and its origin. Such scenes have become a topic of discussion from time to time, and some people have even linked it to espionage activities.

Keep an eye on Pentagon report
Hundreds of incidents related to UFOs have been mentioned in the new Pentagon report, but nowhere in the report does it indicate that these incidents are related to any other planet. According to the report, most of the cases uncovered in the investigation involved balloons, birds, satellites and other identifiable objects. However, some events were difficult to analyze accurately, such as the near collision between an airliner and a mysterious object near New York.
Incidence of UAPs reported in 2022
A special office was established by the Pentagon in 2022 to monitor unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). According to the report, 757 incidents were reported in the US from May 1, 2023 to June 1, 2024, of which 272 incidents were not previously reported. Most of these incidents occurred in airspace, and 49 incidents occurred at space altitude (100 kilometers).
Investigation of hundreds of incidents inconclusive
According to the report, about 300 incidents have been identified in which these flying objects were later revealed to be balloons, birds, aircraft, drones or satellites. However, in hundreds of cases it is still not clear what the object actually was. Pentagon officials say there was not enough information to draw firm conclusions on these incidents.

What scientific answer will we get on the existence of aliens?
It is clear from this report that no concrete scientific answers have been found to the questions related to UFOs and aliens. The Pentagon's study has focused primarily on potential threats to national security and air defense, and not on scientific aspects. However, this report shows the efforts of the US government to provide some answers to these questions, understanding the growing interest of the people.
