“People forget my batting…” Big statement by Krunal Pandya, return to Team India is still the goal

Indian all-rounder and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star player Krunal Pandya has given a big statement regarding his batting. He said that people often glorify his batting ability, even though it is an important part of his game. Krunal said this in the teaser of RCB’s podcast.

Krunal Pandya said that in every season he is given different tags – sometimes bowling all-rounder and sometimes batting all-rounder. He clearly said that batting is very close to his heart and people forget this ability of his.

Krunal performed brilliantly in the IPL 2025 final, bowling 2/17 and became the ‘Player of the Match’. His role contributed significantly to RCB winning its first IPL title.

Krunal’s inning of 73* runs was also in the news when the team was in a difficult position of 26/3. He showed his batting prowess by winning the match. This innings is being counted among the special innings of his career.

Krunal has so far scored more than 1,700 runs in the IPL and has batted at a strike rate of more than 130. In bowling also, he has given edge to the team by taking wickets continuously.

Krunal said that he is still dreaming of returning to the Indian team. Despite being away from international cricket for almost five years, his aim is to play for the country again.

Recently, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he performed brilliantly and scored more than 300 runs, which included one century and two centuries.

Overall, Krunal Pandya has made it clear that he is not just a bowler but also a strong batsman and is all set to make a comeback in Team India.
