People going to Gurugram will get relief from jam: Noida-Faridabad-Gurugram will be connected by rapid rail corridor.

Chandigarh, 26 February. After the successful launch of rapid rail from the national capital Delhi to Meerut, the residents of Delhi-NCR will also soon get its gift. Under the new scheme of the government, Namo Bharat will soon connect Gurugram-Faridabad-Noida.

There will be six stations on the approximately 61 kilometer long track.

Giving information in this regard, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the final alignment of Namo Bharat RRTS corridor has been approved. The government held a meeting with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Tuesday to finalize the route. There will be six stations on the approximately 61 kilometer long track. The entire project will cost Rs 15,000 crore.

Route will start from IFFCO Chowk, Gurugram

The route will start from IFFCO Chowk, Gurugram. Namo Bharat Express running from Delhi to Bawal also has a station here. Both routes will connect here. NaMo Bharat Express will then reach Noida via Brigadier Usman Chowk, Bata Chowk and Sector 85 in Faridabad, with a station proposed in Sector 142. After this it will be connected to Ghaziabad-Jewar route at Surajpur.

The proposed route will significantly save Noida-Gurugram travel time.

With this proposed route, Noida-Gurugram travel time will be significantly reduced. It is claimed that the journey will take 38 minutes. Once connected to the other two NaMo Bharat routes, passengers will be able to use it to travel to any city in the NCR.

The government has proposed to connect these cities through an orbital connectivity project, which will connect more than 10 cities of NCR. The Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail Corridor is already operational, giving a glimpse of the region’s future transportation network.

Ghazipur-Noida-Jewar airport corridor also proposed

Another proposed corridor is the Ghazipur-Noida-Jewar Airport corridor, which will provide direct connectivity to the upcoming Jewar Airport. This corridor has been approved and is expected to be 72 kilometers long. It will connect Ghazipur to Greater Noida and Jewar Airport, making it easier for passengers to reach the airport.

Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridor also Included in the priority list of NCRTC

The Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridor is also a part of the priority list of NCRTC, which aims to provide high-speed connectivity to key cities of NCR. This corridor will connect Delhi with Panipat and Karnal, which will boost economic development in the area.

The government’s vision is to complete these corridors by 2030, so that commuters can get better and reliable transportation. The construction of these corridors will not only boost the economy of the area but will also improve the quality of life of the people living there. Jewar Airport is scheduled to open in March 2026, so the government is working to ensure that the corridors are completed on time, providing easy connectivity to the airport.
