He also said that Kartik draws energy from the people around him and that he first liked his work in Pyaar Ka Punchnama, but later he could not impress.

When asked why the audience likes Karthik’s films and goes to watch them in theatres, Prashant said that according to him people laugh not at the films but at Karthik. He said, “There is a difference between laughing with someone and laughing at someone.
