PM Janman Yojana: PM Janman Yojana was launched on November 15, 2023. Through this scheme, basic facilities are to be provided to the people of special backward tribes. Besides, they also have to be made economically and socially strong. Under this, Chhattisgarh government is continuously working.

For this, guidelines have also been given to the health teams so that people can be treated as soon as possible and no one loses their life due to delay in treatment.

The benefits of this scheme are being extended to PVTG families. PVTG means Special Tribe, who are still not getting many basic facilities. Facilities have to be made available to them. The government is setting up camps at various places for such families. Many types of facilities are being provided to these families through Community Service Center, Haat Bazaar, Gram Panchayat, Anganwadi. Under this scheme, the PVTG community is also being given Jan Dhan account, Aadhar card, lease under Forest Rights Act so that they can become financially strong.

Benefits are being extended to PVTG families

In view of the increasing health problems, the CM has directed to set up 62 mobile medical units in the state. Through this, immediate health services are being provided to the patients. Within just 9 months, various types of facilities have been provided to 20-22 lakh people of PVTG community through this.

These people mainly earn their living by making bamboo baskets and other items. There is still a lack of education in this society.
