People of Delhi-Noida have fun! ‘Chilla’ jam is about to end, CM Yogi gave these strict instructions to officers regarding elevated road
The construction work of Chilla Elevated Road Project, which is being built to ease the traffic between Delhi and Noida, is progressing rapidly. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently reviewed the progress of the project. In the meeting held through video conferencing, officials said that so far about 42 percent of the construction work has been completed. The Chief Minister has instructed the officials that this project should be completed within the stipulated time with quality and safety standards.
The total cost of this elevated road project is said to be around Rs 892 crore. The government and Noida Authority are jointly taking this project forward. Officials say that this road will play a role in reducing the increasing traffic pressure between Delhi and Noida. Its construction is expected to provide great relief to lakhs of commuters daily. This project was approved in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2023. At that time the cost of the project was fixed at around Rs 787 crore and it was decided that 50% of the money would be given by the state government. After this the authority has started the construction work rapidly.
6 line elevated road will be 5.96 km long
This elevated road will be about 5.96 kilometers long and will have six lanes. The project is being developed along with the dirty drain. So that the land can be used better. According to officials, this elevated road is being constructed on 296 pillars. After its completion, traveling from Delhi to Noida will become faster and more convenient than before. The total cost of this elevated road project is said to be around Rs 892 crore. The government and Noida Authority are jointly taking this scheme forward. Officials say that that road will play a role in reducing the increasing traffic pressure between Delhi and Noida. This construction is expected to provide great relief to lakhs of commuters daily.

This project got the approval of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet in the year 2023. At that time the cost of the project was fixed at around Rs 787 crore and it was decided that 50 percent of the money would be given by the state government, after which this program was stopped. But after the completion of the project, the journey between Delhi and Noida will be faster and there will be immense saving of both time and fuel.
There will be less problem of traffic jams
Chilla Border is one of the best routes between Delhi and Noida. Thousands of vehicles pass through this route every day, which often leads to long traffic jams. After the construction of the elevated road, a large part of the traffic will be able to pass through it and the pressure on the roads below will be reduced. By the time the project is completed, the journey between Delhi and Noida will be faster and both time and fuel will be saved.
