During this, an elephant makes a gesture of moving towards the people in anger, but stops after moving a few steps. After the video of the incident surfaced, the Forest Department has appealed to the people to maintain distance from wild elephants.

In the viral video, it can be seen that some people are doing things like slingshot towards the herd of elephants and making loud noises. Forest officials say that such activities can provoke wild animals and can also put human lives in danger.

The department has clarified that if the herd of elephants is not disturbed without any reason then they normally go on their way. But if provoked, they can become aggressive and the possibility of a major accident increases.
