Siddharthnagar – A grand fruit program was organized on Thursday at the residence of Mata Prasad Pandey, Leader of Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Assembly and MLA from Etawah Assembly, in Etawah. This program was jointly hosted by Leader of Opposition and Etwa Block Chief Suryamati Pandey. The event not only remained a part of a religious and cultural tradition, but also served as a major platform for regional social and political dialogue. During the programme, there was a steady flow of citizens, enlightened people and a large number of supporters from all over the region.
Leader of Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey and Block Chief Suryamati Pandey themselves welcomed the visitors and inquired about their well-being. People from different sections of society participated in the program, rising above party politics, which shows the deep penetration and popularity of the Pandey family in the area. There was huge enthusiasm among the supporters for their leader. Along with refreshments and fruits, informal discussions also took place on local development and public problems. Expressing gratitude to the people present on this occasion, the Leader of Opposition said that such events strengthen mutual brotherhood and give them an opportunity to be in direct contact with the people of their area. Block chief Suryamati Pandey also thanked all the guests who had come.
