New Delhi: Petrol pump dealers will now get more commission, because after 7 years the government has given its approval to the demand of the dealers and has given them the gift of Dhanteras before Diwali. At the same time, good news has also been given for the consumers that the prices of petrol and diesel are not going to increase during Diwali.

Let us tell you that even after this decision, there will be no increase in the prices of petrol and diesel. At present, dealers get a commission of Rs 1,868.14 per kiloliter for petrol and Rs 1,389.35 for diesel. According to IOC, this will improve customer service standards.

Rationalization of inter-state freight movement by government oil companies will bring down the prices of petrol and diesel in many remote areas of states like Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Himachal Pradesh.
