Video went viral on social media

In the viral video, the petrol pump employee clearly says that filling the oil in a specific amount does not make any difference. There are two other things that deserve real attention. The first thing is the density of the fuel.

The employee tells that the density of petrol should be between 720 to 775, while the density of diesel is considered to be between 820 to 860. Density shows how pure the oil is and whether it has been adulterated. If the density is within this prescribed limit, then only petrol or diesel should be filled.

Users found the advice very useful

The second important thing is related to the meter of the machine. The employee explains that while filling up the oil, everyone sees the meter starting at 0, but the real focus should be on the next digit. After 0 the meter should increase by 5. If the meter goes straight from 0 to 10, 12 or 15, there is a need to be suspicious.

This could be a sign of machine tampering. This video has been shared by @babamunganathfillingstation on Instagram, which has been viewed millions of times so far. Users are finding this advice very useful and many people are saying that now they will fill petrol in liter only.
