Petrol Diesel Price Today: Fuel prices remained mostly stable across India on July 7, even as Brent crude oil prices fell to a four-month low as geopolitical tensions eased. Although global crude prices have fallen sharply, customers are unlikely to see an immediate cut in petrol and diesel prices. Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said domestic fuel retailers are still using high-priced crude oil stocks, which were purchased at the peak of the West Asia crisis.

Rates have been stable for a month

Petrol and diesel prices have remained stable since May 25, when state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) increased petrol prices by ₹2.61 per liter and diesel by ₹2.71 per litre. Petrol price in Delhi is still above ₹100 per liter at ₹102.12, while diesel is being sold at ₹95.20 per liter. Petrol prices in Mumbai also remain above the ₹110 mark, where petrol is being sold at ₹111.21 per liter and diesel at ₹97.83 per litre.
