Petrol-Diesel Price Today: Crude oil scared again, costlier by Rs 7 in 14 days, will the price of petrol-diesel increase again?

Business Desk – Petrol-Diesel Price Today: Amidst the fluctuations in the international market, Indian oil companies have not made any change in the prices of petrol and diesel today on May 30. After four consecutive price increases in the last two weeks, stability in prices today is a good news, which has brought some relief to the general public. However, despite this pause, fuel prices in many major metros of the country remain at their highest ever level.

Today’s latest rates in big cities

Today in Delhi petrol is being sold at Rs 102.12 per liter and diesel at Rs 95.20 per liter. At the same time, in the country’s financial capital Mumbai, petrol prices remain stable at Rs 111.18 per liter and diesel prices at Rs 97.83 per liter.

The price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 113.51 per liter and the price of diesel is Rs 99.82 per liter, while in Bengaluru the price of petrol remains stable at Rs 110.89 per liter.

Prices increase by Rs 7.50 in two weeks

Although there has been no increase in local prices today, a review of the last 15 days shows that there has been a huge burden on the pockets of the general public. It is worth noting that from May 15, after a long gap of almost two years, oil companies had again started revising fuel prices. Since then, in just two weeks, the prices of petrol and diesel have increased by a total of about Rs 7.50 per liter in four separate installments.

global market decline

Amidst the peace in the domestic market, an important news is coming out from the international level. Today, softening of crude oil prices was seen on global commodity exchanges. It is noteworthy that today a big fall of 1.28% was recorded in the prices of crude oil, due to which the prices fell to the level of $87.760 per barrel.

Experts believe that if this trend of decline in global crude oil prices continues, then in the coming days we may also see a decline in the prices of petrol and diesel in the Indian market.
