Petrol Diesel Price Today: There is a good news amid the shortage of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Despite the rise in crude oil prices, India’s oil marketing companies have not increased the prices of petrol and diesel today. According to the rates released this morning, the retail price of petrol at Indian Oil pumps in Delhi is Rs 94.77 and diesel Rs 87.67 per litre. In March 2024, the prices of petrol and diesel were reduced by Rs 2 per liter. There has been no change since then.
Crude oil prices are increasing once again. Brent crude is approaching $100 per barrel. According to Bloomberg, Brent crude rose more than 6 percent this morning to $97.69. WTI also increased by about 6 percent to $92.41. It is worth noting that every $1 increase in crude oil adds about $2 billion annually to India’s import bill.
