Petrol-Diesel Prices: Crude oil softens in the international market, no change in petrol diesel prices
Delhi. Prices of normal petrol and diesel in the country remained unchanged on Wednesday. According to Indian Oil Corporation, the country’s largest oil marketing company, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi today remained stable at Rs 94.77 and diesel at Rs 87.67 per liter. There has been no change in the prices of normal petrol and diesel after October 30, 2024. Meanwhile, softening of crude oil was seen in the international market today and London’s March futures of Brent crude rose by almost five percent and fell below $ 100 per barrel.
Earlier, after the sharp rise in crude oil, the price of Indian Oil’s premium petrol XP95 was increased by two rupees on March 20. After this increase, its price in Delhi has now become Rs 101.89 per liter. The price of Indian Oil’s premium diesel XG is stable at Rs 91.49 per dollar.
The price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 103.54, in Chennai it is Rs 100.84 and in Kolkata it is Rs 105.45 per liter. Diesel is being sold at Rs 90.03 per liter in Mumbai, Rs 92.39 in Chennai and Rs 92.02 per liter in Kolkata. These days the rupee is also at a historic low against the dollar. Due to this, there is pressure on oil marketing companies to increase prices. However, at present they do not want to put too much burden on the customers.
