Panic spread due to the massive explosion that occurred in the collision between a truck and a CNG tanker at around 6 in the morning. The fire continued for about 500 meters on the highway. One by one the vehicles passing through here started getting caught in the fire. 40 vehicles became victims of the accident. These include sleeper buses and many trucks.
The fire was so terrible that its flames and black smoke could be seen from several kilometers away. Six people were burnt alive in the horrific accident. About 40 people are said to be injured. The condition of many of these people remains critical. There was screaming at the spot after the blast. The sleeper bus coming behind the truck got hit by it.
40 vehicles burnt, fire spread due to gas leak
As soon as the fire broke out, there was screaming among the passengers in the bus. To escape, he got off the bus and ran to the side of the highway. Meanwhile, many vehicles coming from behind started colliding with each other. About 40 vehicles have become victims of the accident. Initial investigation has revealed negligence of the truck and tanker driver in the accident. After an accident on the highway in Jaipur, there was a gas leak, due to which the fire spread far and wide. The fire brigade team reached the spot to control the fire. He had to face a lot of difficulties.
Rescue done by wearing mask
The team engaged in rescue work started having trouble breathing due to gas leakage. They used masks. Police stopped traffic on the highway for 2 kilometers. Those who were burnt in the fire have been admitted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur. Many of these people have suffered more than 70 percent burns. Regarding the accident, it is being said that the blast was caused by the collision of a truck and a CNG tanker.
Accident occurred due to taking U-turn, created havoc
According to the information, the CNG tanker was coming from Ajmer towards Jaipur. The tanker stopped near Delhi Public School located in Bhankrota area near Jaipur and started taking a U-turn back towards Ajmer. Meanwhile, a truck coming at high speed from Jaipur collided with him. As soon as the collision occurred there was a huge explosion and fire. Sleeper bus and other vehicles were coming behind the truck which caught fire. The sound of explosions was heard far away.

There was an outcry on the highway after the accident. People got out of the vehicles and started running to escape. Those who remained trapped in the vehicle got burnt due to the fire. Of these, 6 people were burnt alive. The plastic pipe factory located nearby was burnt to ashes. The petrol pump located just opposite also caught fire. It was fortunate that it was controlled quickly. Black smoke from the fire spread on the highway. After much effort, more than 20 fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control.
