The money deposited in EPF belongs to the subscriber only, but different forms and procedures put them in trouble. Keeping this in view, the ministry is going to simplify the withdrawal process of EPF.
These improvements have taken place in EPF so far
In October 2025, EPFO had approved major reforms by changing many rules related to the Provident Fund. The Labor Ministry had said that earlier due to different categories and eligibility conditions, claims used to get delayed and sometimes even rejected. Keeping this problem in mind, a simple framework has been created by combining 13 different withdrawal categories. Which is directly beneficial for EPF customers and employees.
