Philipp Ackermann Viral Video: German Ambassador's Indian style, lemon and chilli packed in new car

New Delhi : In Indian culture, there is a custom of tying lemon-chili and breaking coconut before starting any new vehicle. Most of the Indian Hindus do this but if we say that foreigners also follow Hindu customs then you will definitely be a little surprised. German Ambassador Philipp Ackermann bought a new electric car for his office and packed lemon and chilli in the car. The video has been shared on social media platform X.

German Ambassador to India Philipp Ackermann likes Indian customs. Ambassador Philip Ackerman has got a new electric car for his office. Before sitting in this car, according to Indian custom, he packed lemon and chilli in the car and then broke the coconut. In India it is believed that doing so provides protection from evil.

This video of Philip Ackerman was shot outside his office. Regarding the new car, Ackerman said that pollution increases a lot in the winter season in Delhi, so to contribute in reducing it, he switched to an electric car. He said, “Germany and India are committed to mutual partnership. This is called partnership agreement for development. There is a lot of pollution here during winter and I feel that we all should contribute in reducing it. I wanted to buy an electric vehicle. After some time my office told that we will get an electric car. This will reduce pollution. This is our main objective.”

Ackerman expressed happiness

Earlier on October 12, Ackerman had expressed happiness at the launch of Federation of European Business (FEBI) in India. He said that this organization will take forward the free trade agreement between India and Europe. Speaking to the media, Ackerman said that the launch of FEBI in Delhi is an important step, as Europe plays an important role in the Indian business ecosystem. He further said, “This is a very important moment. I think FEBI is a very interesting network.”
