A 68-year-old man lost his life when a pickup truck reversed at high speed into his yard in central Quang Tri Province, crashing through a wall and striking him.
The incident occurred on Friday morning and was captured on a security camera.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., Nguyen Van Thuan, 36, reversed a pickup truck from a garage onto Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Dong Ha City.
Surveillance footage shows the truck reversing at high speed, crossing the road, and crashing into the home of a man named Ho Dang Uyen, knocking down part of a wall.
Uyen, who was sitting in his yard at the time, was struck and killed instantly.

Authorities reported that Thuan is an employee of Phu Thai auto garage on Ly Thuong Kiet Street. The vehicle he was driving belonged to a customer who had brought it in for repairs.
Police are currently investigating the case.
