Peeragadhi Triple Murder: Tantrik Baba Kamaruddin arrested, murdered all three by poisoning them in greed for money
Delhi Police has made a major breakthrough in the case of bodies of three people found in a closed car near Peeragarhi flyover. On Wednesday, the police arrested Tantrik and Maulana Kamaruddin and a case of murder has been registered against him. This is the first arrest in this case. According to the information, Randhir (76), Shiv Naresh Singh (47) and Lakshmi Devi (40) were found dead inside a car parked on Peeragarhi flyover on Sunday afternoon. Randhir was sitting on the driver’s seat and the other two were sitting on the back seat. Investigation revealed that Kamaruddin, out of greed for money, poisoned all three and took their lives. The police have declared it a triple murder and have started interrogating the accused to reveal the entire plan behind the murder.
Baba used to commit murder by poisoning, then abscond with the money.
Delhi Police investigation has revealed that accused Kamaruddin alias Baba, a resident of Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, used to run Tantrik centers in Loni and Firozabad. According to the police, the accused used to lure people to get money suddenly. On the pretext of Tantra Mantra and puja, he would first win the trust of the victims, then kill them by feeding them poisoned laddus and run away with their money and valuables.
Three dead bodies were found in the car on 8 February
On February 8, 2026, Paschim Vihar East police station received a PCR call that three people were lying unconscious in a white car. Police reached the spot and found that 76-year-old Randhir was in the driver’s seat, 42-year-old Shiv Naresh had been thrown out and 40-year-old Lakshmi was lying inside the car. The police have identified the deceased. They are Randhir, aged 76 years, resident of Baprola, Shiv Naresh, aged 42 years, resident of Nangli Dairy, property dealer, Lakshmi, aged 40 years, resident of Jahangirpuri.
Liquor bottles, cash and other items were found in the car
The three bodies found in the car were immediately taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. Doctors declared all three dead. The police searched the car, in which many important items were recovered like liquor bottles, cold drinks and empty glasses, mobile phones, cash, helmet and jacket, Aadhar card and other documents. After examining these evidences, the police started taking action towards the cause of the murder and reaching the accused.
Police initially suspected suicide after three bodies were found in the car. However, the relatives of the deceased completely rejected the possibility of suicide and termed their death as suspicious. Investigation and technical inquiry revealed that the three deceased were in contact with Tantrik Kamaruddin. He had assured them of rain of money through puja and tantra-mantra.
Investigation also revealed that the three deceased and Kamaruddin had gone to Loni, Ghaziabad on the day of the incident and a day before that. A fourth person was also present in the car, who was later identified as Kamaruddin. According to the police, the accused sat in the car with Loni and fled away leaving the car after the incident.
Kamaruddin had ordered liquor for the puja.
After the arrest, during police interrogation, accused Kamaruddin confessed to the entire plan of the murder. He told that about two months ago, he was identified with the other two deceased through Lakshmi. The accused told that in the greed of more money, he used to order Rs 2 lakh in cash, liquor and cold drinks in the name of Pooja. The same liquor was recovered by the police in the car. Kamaruddin said that he had already prepared poisoned laddus. During the journey, he fed liquor, cold drinks and poisonous laddus to all three. When all three fell unconscious, he fled from the spot with cash and valuables.
Murder case already registered against Kamruddi
Police said that accused Kamaruddin is not a new criminal. Complaints have already been filed against him in serious cases like murder. According to police records, he has already been involved in a murder case. In the present case, the police have registered a case against Kamruddin under murder, cheating and other related sections and started investigation.
