New Delhi: Haryana Steelers defeated Tamil Thalaivas by 36-29 in the first match of the evening while Jaipur Pink Panthers beat Puneri Paltan by 30-28 in the second match on Sunday in Noida Indoor Stadium, Noida.
After winning the match, Haryana Steelers continue to maintain top spot in the Pro Kabaddi League points table with 41 points from 10 matches, having won eight and lost just two. Jaipur Pink Panthers (35 points) moved to second position after their close win against Puneri Paltan (34 points), who slipped to third spot. U Mumba and Patna Pirates are in the fourth and fifth positions with 34 and 33 points, respectively. Dabang Delhi secure sixth position with 32 points while Tamil Thalaivas is in the seventh spot with 28 points.
Telugu Titans and UP Yoddhas are in the eighth and ninth spots with 27 and 25 points, respectively. Bengal Warriorz is in the tenth position with 23 points in 10 matches while Bengaluru Bulls and Gujarat Titans are struggling at the bottom of the table with 13 and 12, respectively.

The Haryana Steelers beat Tamil Thalaivas by 36-29 in Match 59 of PKL 11 at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Sunday. Both teams made a watchful start and relied on Do-or-die raids to secure early points. The Steelers took the lead within 10 minutes into the match but the Thalaivas made a great comeback and inflicted an all-out. The Steelers struggled to score points as Tamil Thalaivas went into halftime with a lead of 17-14. The first unsuccessful lead of the night by the Thalaivas proved crucial for the Steelers who made a stunning comeback in the match. The Thalaivas tried to make a comeback but the Steelers inflicted an all-out in the last stages of the match to secure a win.
In the second match of the evening, Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Puneri Paltan by 30-28 and secured their third consecutive victory. A brilliant performance from Ankush Rathee and Arjun Deshwal helped the Pink Panthers jump to second place in the points table.
