PKL 11 points table: Yoddhas beat Pink Panthers, Telugu Titans move to second spot

New Delhi: UP Yoddhas defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers by 33-29 in the first match of the evening while Telugu Titans beat U Mumba by 41-35 in the second match at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Thursday, November 28.

After both matches, Haryana Steelers continued to maintain the first position in the Pro Kabaddi League points table while Telugu Titans moved to the second spot and U Mumba slipped to third position in the table. UP Yoddhas also moved to the fourth spot while Jaipur Pink Panthers slipped to the eighth position in the table. Dabang Delhi and Patna Pirates are in the fifth and sixth positions respectively. Bengal Warriorz, Gujarat Titans and Bengaluru Bulls are at the bottom of the table.

In the first match, UP Yoddhas defeated Jaipur Pink Panthers 33-29. The UP Yoddhas clinched the win in the final minute of the game. Bhavani Rajput scored 8 points, while Gagan Gowda got 6 and Sumit scored a Hi-5 for UP Yoddhas as they took revenge for the defeat against Jaipur Pink Panthers earlier in the season.

Both teams made a cautious start in the match but Arjun Deshwal and Ankush Rathhe helped the Pink Panthers to take an early lead. The Yoddhas fought back and took the lead. Both teams remained level going into the half-time. Gagan Gowda led the charge for Yoddhas and was well supported by Bhavani and Sumit in the second half. The Pink Panthers made a great comeback in the final few minutes but the Yoddhas held their nerve and clinched a 4-point victory.

In the second match of the evening, Vijay Malik, Sagar and Ashish Narwal came up with a brilliant performance and helped Telugu Titans secure a 41-35 win over U Mumba. Vijay recorded another Super 10 of the season, while Sagar scored a High 5, and Ashish Narwal also contributed with nine raid points to help their team move to second place on the points table.
