PKL Season 11: In a thrilling match, Jaipur Pink Panthers defeated Bengal Warriors by a margin of 39-34.

India News, PKL Season 11: Seventh season champion Bengal Warriors and first season champion Jaipur Pink Panthers faced each other in the fifth match of the 11th season of Pro Kabaddi League at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium on Sunday, in which the Jaipur team won by a margin of 39-34. Arjun Deswal (15 points), known as Red Machine, was the hero of Jaipur’s victory. Nitin Dhankhar (13 points) performed brilliantly for Bengal in the match that lasted till the last minute. Maninder Singh scored 8 points while Fazal Atrachali gave a high-5. Apart from Deswal, Abhijeet Malik (7 points) shone for Jaipur.

The first 10 minutes were quite exciting. Deswal was caught by Nitish on the very first raid of the match. He soon revived but was caught again in the next raid. After five minutes, Bengal had a lead of 5-2.

Gave lead to Jaipur Pink Panthers

Deswal revived on Nitish’s mistake and changed the complexion of the match. After the revival, he gave Jaipur the lead by scoring three points in three consecutive raids. Then Deswal pushed Bengal towards all out and by doing this gave his team a lead of 12-9. Arjun did not stop even after the break. He scored three points in two raids to put Jaipur ahead 15-10. Nitin Dhankhar, however, ensured Bengal’s comeback with the first super raid of the match. Now the distance was left to 2. On the next raid, Arjun eliminated Fazal but on the next raid Mayur killed him.

The next few moments were important for Jaipur. While the defense caught Maninder, Reza Mirbagheri made a two-point raid. Deswal had revived. As soon as he arrived, he completed Super-10. Bengal was now in danger of all out but Fazal averted it by making a super tackle on Deswal. The first half was in the name of Jaipur 21-18.

Bengal team gave tremendous competition

After half time, Bengal were again in a super tackle situation. Deswal came and touched the running hand. He got super tackled in the next raid. Bengal were continuously postponing their all out. In defense of two, Fazal was ready for a do or die raid. Vikas went and was caught. Fazal completed his Super-5. The score was 24-25. However, Jaipur all out Bengal in the next minute and took the lead of 29-25. In the next four minutes, both the teams scored 3 points each. Deswal, however, was out. Meanwhile, Nitin completed Super-10.

After this, Jaipur took two consecutive points and got Deswal revived. Now the lead was 4. Nitin pushed Ankush out and reduced the distance to 3. Nitin again returned with a point in defense of five. Now the distance remains only 2. Then on the do or die raid, Deswal hunted Fazal and reduced the gap to 3 but Nitin made the score 34-35 with a two-point raid. Meanwhile, Jaipur won the match by executing a super tackle at a crucial stage.
