UP Yoddhas Edge Dabang Delhi KC; Puneri Paltan Overpower Patna Pirates

The UP Yoddhas and Puneri Paltan delivered thrilling performances in their matches of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11 at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Gachibowli.

The Yoddhas edged out Dabang Delhi K.C. with a closely fought 28-23 victory, while Puneri Paltan dominated the Patna Pirates, winning comfortably with a scoreline of 40-25.

UP Yoddhas Triumph in Nail-Biter Against Dabang Delhi K.C.

In their match, the UP Yoddhas kicked off the action with a raid from Surender Gill that earned them the first points.

The game quickly turned into a tight contest, with both teams trading points without gaining a clear advantage.

As the first half progressed, Bhavani Rajput took charge for the Yoddhas, helping them establish a slight lead, but the half ended with both teams tied at 12-11.

The second half began cautiously, with both sides struggling to break through the opposition’s defense.

By the halfway mark of the second period, the Yoddhas held a narrow 18-16 lead.

Dabang Delhi K.C. made a strong push led by Naveen Kumar, but in the closing minutes, the UP Yoddhas turned up the intensity.

Sahul Kumar’s ALL OUT on Delhi gave the Yoddhas a 5-point cushion, sealing their victory. Bhavani Rajput was the standout performer, scoring 7 points.

Puneri Paltan Outshines Patna Pirates

In the second match of the evening, the Puneri Paltan delivered an impressive performance against the Patna Pirates.

Led by captain Aslam Inamdar, Puneri Paltan jumped to an early 4-0 lead. The Pirates tried to fight back, with Ankit’s Super Tackle on Inamdar bringing them closer, but Puneri Paltan maintained control.

As the first half neared its conclusion, the Puneri Paltan surged ahead, ending the half with a commanding 20-10 lead.

After the break, they continued to dominate, extending their advantage to 13 points midway through the second half.

Despite a spirited effort from Patna, including the introduction of crowd-favorite Jang Kun Lee, the Puneri Paltan held strong and secured a convincing win.

Inamdar led the scoring for his team with 7 points, while Aman and Mohit Goyat contributed significantly.
