Mustard under Bengali’s feet. A few days of vacation means packing the boxes, pants and going out. And North Bengal is the first destination for summer vacations. Indian Railways has announced additional trains keeping travelers in mind. It has been decided to run additional trains on Kolkata to New Jalpaiguri and Kolkata to Kanpur Central routes.
This special train will run from May 16 to June 13. 03129 Kolkata-New Jalpaiguri Summer Special train will leave Kolkata every Saturday at 11:40 PM. The train will reach New Jalpaiguri station at 10:45 AM the next day. The next day ie every Sunday 03130 New Jalpaiguri-Kolkata Summer Special train will depart from New Jalpaiguri station at 12:45 PM. The train is scheduled to return to Kolkata at 12:40 PM. The train will halt at Naihati, Bandel, Navadwip Dham, Katwa, Azimganj, Jangipur Road, Maldah Town stations en route. The train will also have general second class, sleeper class and air conditioning arrangements.
04153 Kanpur Central-Kolkata Summer Special train will also be started. A total of 13 trains will run from April 2 to April 25. The train will leave every Thursday at 11 pm. The next day i.e. Friday will reach Kanpur at 7:50 PM. Train 04154 will leave at 10.45 am. The train will reach Kanpur at 7:10 the next day. The train will stop at Naihati, Bandel, Burdwan, Durgapur and Asansol stations en route. This train will also have general second class, sleeper class and air conditioning arrangements.
03129 Kolkata-New Jalpaiguri Summer Special and 04154 Kolkata-Kanpur Central Summer Special will be booked from next Saturday. Tickets can be booked online and offline. Don’t delay in booking tickets if you are planning to go to North Bengal to avoid the hassle of ticket booking.
