Lucknow. On the occasion of World Earth Day in the capital Lucknow, Suez, an organization working under the ‘One City, One Operator’ initiative, along with Aiwa, planted saplings at the 345 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) located in Bharwara. During this, saplings of various species were planted in the campus and the message of environmental protection was given. World Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22 April with the aim of increasing awareness about environmental protection.

This day gives a message to the people to reduce the use of plastic and make the earth safe by planting more and more trees. Taking this thinking forward, this initiative was taken by Suez. Suez is extremely conscious about sustainability in Lucknow and is continuously making efforts to keep the Bharwara STP complex green. Environmental protection is promoted by the company by organizing such programs from time to time. On this occasion, Project Director Rajesh Mathpal said, “Earth Day makes us realize our responsibilities towards the environment.

Suez is committed to sustainable development and environmental protection. Even small efforts like planting trees can bring big positive changes in the future. Our objective is not limited to mere operations but also to actively participate in the conservation of nature.” The message conveyed through the program was that if every person takes small steps towards environmental protection, a safe and clean future can be ensured for the coming generations.
