PM Kisan instalment date: When will beneficiaries receive next payment? eKYC and more

New Delhi: The Centre is planning to issue the next instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The 18th instalment of PM Kisan is due for credit. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is a welfare scheme for farmers under which an amount of Rs 6,000 is released per year in 3 instalments to eligible beneficiaries.

The scheme was announced by PM Narendra Modi in 2019. When will the government release the next instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi The 18th instalment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will be credited into the accounts of registered beneficiaries on October 5, 2024, according to the official website.

PM Kisan benefits and how to enrol

Potential beneficiaries must conduct eKYC via the PM Kisan portal or the nearest government common service centre. The eKYC is OTP and biometrics-based. Beneficiaries can also conduct eKYC via face authentication on the PM Kisan app. The 17th instalment of PM Kisan worth Rs 20,000 crore benefited over 9.26 crore beneficiaries.

How to check PM Kisan beneficiary list

The PM Kisan beneficiary list will be displayed in the Panchayat office. The same can also be checked on the OM Kisan website. Navigate to the beneficiary list page. Now, select the state then the district. Now select the sub-district, block and then village. Next, click on the ‘get report’ option. Navigate the page to find out whether your name is on the list.

Who is not eligible for PM Kisan Yojana

The eligibility criteria for PM Kisan Yojana is strict. It disallows benefits to the following category of people:

  • Institutional landholders
  • Farmer families in constitutional posts
  • Farmer families who served in the ministry at the state or central levels or who were in the municipality or district panchayat.
  • Retired central and state government officials are not eligible for this scheme. Pensioners whose monthly pension is worth Rs 10,000 and above.
  • Income taxpayers and professionals such as doctors or lawyers and engineers as well as chartered accountants are not eligible for PM Kisan.
