PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Farmers’ wait is over! When will the 22nd installment of PM Kisan come? Before that complete ‘this’ process

  • PM Kisan 22nd installment update
  • 4000 will directly come into the account of some farmers.
  • E-KYC mandatory for 22nd installment

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) is one of the most important schemes of the Government of India, which provides financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, farmers get a subsidy of Rs 2,000 three times a year, which helps them meet their small farming expenses. A total of 21 installments have been released under this scheme so far and now the farmers are eyeing the 22nd installment.

According to information received, the central government may gift the 22nd installment to the farmers before the festival of Holi. This installment is expected to be available anytime after 24 February 2026. Though the government has not announced any official date yet, considering the old pattern and timing of the festival, it is believed that the government may transfer the amount before Holi.

At this time, the special discussion regarding the installment is about the amount of 4,000. Normally, each farmer gets 2,000 under the PM Kisan Yojana, but this time, 4,000 can be transferred to multiple farmers’ accounts. This is for farmers whose previous installments were held up due to technical difficulties or paperwork issues. Farmers who have not received the 21st installment and have cleared their deficiencies will receive the previous and current installments at the same time, i.e. 4,000 will be directly transferred to their accounts. Other farmers in normal circumstances will get only 2,000.

If farmers want their installment to reach their account without any hurdle, they should complete e-KYC. The government has made it clear that money will not be transferred to farmers’ accounts without e-KYC. This step is necessary to maintain transparency in the scheme. If e-KYC has not yet been completed, they can immediately complete it through OTP on PM Kisan portal or biometrically by visiting the nearest CSC center.
