PM Kisan Yojana: When will the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana come? Know this big update

PM Kisan Yojana: Crores of farmers across the country are eagerly waiting for the next 22nd installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Under this scheme, a total of Rs 6,000 is given every year to eligible farmer families, which is transferred directly to the bank account every 4 months in three equal installments (2,000-2,000-2,000).

When will the 22nd installment come?

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has not yet announced the official date of the 22nd installment, but according to various media reports, it may be released in late February or early March 2026. Earlier, the 21st installment was deposited in the bank accounts of farmers on 19 November 2025.

Which farmer will get the benefit?

The benefit of this scheme is available to small and marginal farmer families in whose name valid cultivable land is registered. There are some necessary conditions to avail the benefit:

It is necessary to have a valid record of cultivable land in the name of the farmer.

Aadhar card is mandatory.

It is also important to complete e-KYC – failure to complete it may result in the next installment getting stuck.

Why is e-KYC necessary?

The government has made e-KYC mandatory for the purpose of transparency in the scheme and removal of fake beneficiaries. Payments to farmers whose e-KYC is not complete may be stopped.

How to complete e-KYC?

Visit the official portal.

Enter your Aadhaar number.

Verify with OTP received on registered mobile number.

If OTP is not completed, visit the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

e-KYC can also be completed through biometrics at CSC.

How to check payment status?

Farmers can also check their payment status sitting at home:

Open the official website or mobile app of PM Kisan.

Select ‘Beneficiary Status’ or ‘Know Your Status’ option.

Enter your registration number.

If you do not remember the number then get information from ‘Know Your Registration Number’.

Fill the captcha and click on Get Data.

Complete details of the installments sent to your account will be visible on the screen – you will know whether the 22nd installment has been credited to your account or not.
