The security agencies of both India and Australia are keeping an eye on this matter and are trying to find out the identity of the person making the threat and his intentions.

According to a report in The Australia Today, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaches Melbourne, a community event named Melbourne Meets Modi will be held at the local Marvel Stadium on July 9. Posts promoting the event have been shared on social media platforms. Meanwhile, a comment appeared in the comment section of a Facebook post which surprised the security agencies of both the countries.

According to the report, in the comment section of the post, a comment in the name of Abu Mustafa had threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Australia. It was written in the comment that the roof of the stadium should be closed during the event, otherwise he would come to Australia and commit suicide.

Australian police are investigating the motive behind the threat

Quoting sources close to the matter, The Australia Today reported that investigators have traced the IP address of the person who commented on the Facebook post and are finding out who made the comment and what their motive was. Apart from this, investigation is also going on to find out whether any criminal law has been violated in this incident or not.

According to the report, the law enforcement agencies of the country take very seriously any attempt to threaten the head of any country or head of state during his visit to Australia, and take strict action against them.
