PM Modi’s big gift to Russians, e-tourist visa will now be absolutely free for 30 days
E Tourist Visa for Russian Citizens: With an aim to increase the number of Russian tourists and strengthen strategic relations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced on Friday, December 5 that India will provide free e-Visa facility to Russian tourists. The announcement was made during a joint press conference after bilateral talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in New Delhi.
30 days free e-tourist visa
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in October this year, lakhs of devotees received the blessings of the holy relics of Lord Buddha at the International Buddhist Forum in Kalmykia. I am glad that we are soon going to launch 30-day free e-Tourist Visa and 30-day Group Tourist Visa for Russian citizens.

The President of Russia is on a two-day visit to India where on the second day he was welcomed in a grand manner at Rashtrapati Bhavan. After this, PM Modi and the Russian President held bilateral talks at Hyderabad House. In this talk, the leaders of both the countries issued a joint statement. During this, PM Modi said that the friendship between India and Russia is shining like the pole star.

India-Russia Business Forum
The two leaders also unveiled the Vision 2030 document, a long-term roadmap designed to strengthen economic engagement and enhance cooperation in trade, investment and technology. PM Modi said the agreement will “create new business opportunities” as both sides prepare to participate in the India-Russia Business Forum.
President Putin expressed his gratitude to President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Modi and the people of India for the warm and hospitable welcome to the Russian delegation. He highlighted his “close working dialogue” with Modi and their constant monitoring of the bilateral agenda.
Promotion of economic cooperation between the two countries
PM Modi said that India and Russia are working towards finalizing the FTA with the Eurasian Economic Union as soon as possible. He also said that work is being done to increase economic cooperation between the two countries. For this, an economic cooperation program has been agreed upon till 2030. PM Modi announced that India will launch free e-tourist visa for Russian citizens, which will be valid for 30 days. This will also promote tourism between the two countries.
