The reception was organized in two phases. The first event was held on 26 December in Karnal, Haryana, where families and local people participated. After this, a second reception was held at The Leela Palace in Delhi on 27 December, in which many well-known personalities from sports, politics and society attended. According to media reports, the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this reception held in Delhi made the program even more special.
Before this, Neeraj and Himani had also met Prime Minister Modi at his official residence 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Pictures of that meeting were shared by PM Modi himself on social media platform X.
