Russia claims, foiled drone attack
According to media reports, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in a televised statement that this drone attack was carried out on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Lavrov made it clear that Russia is taking this attack very seriously and reserves the right to retaliate at the appropriate time. Lavrov alleged that Ukraine and its allies were trying to derail peace talks through such attacks. He said Moscow would reconsider its stance on peace talks with Ukraine, but diplomatic talks with the US would continue. In particular, he talked about continuing dialogue with the team of US President Donald Trump.
