PM Modi talked to Iranian President on Hormuz issue! Also condemned the attacks on the country
PM Modi spoke with the Iranian President: On the occasion of Eid and Nowruz, PM Narendra Modi has talked to Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezheshkian. During this, he condemned the attacks on critical infrastructure in the region. Along with this, there was also discussion between the leaders of the two countries regarding opening of the shipping route (Hormuz) and security of ships. PM Modi has given this information on Saturday.

“Spoke to President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian and wished him a happy Eid and Nowruz. We expressed hope that this festive season will bring peace, stability and prosperity to West Asia. Condemned the attacks on critical infrastructure in the region, which threaten regional stability and disrupt global supply chains. Reiterated the importance of protecting freedom of navigation and ensuring that shipping routes remain open,” PM Modi said in the X Post. And stay safe. Appreciated Iran’s continued support for the safety and security of Indian citizens in Iran.”

President Dr. Masoud Pezheshkian appealed to Islamic countries and neighboring countries for brotherhood. He wrote in the X-post, “To the Islamic nations and our dear neighbours: You are our brothers, and we do not want any kind of conflict with you. The only beneficiary of our mutual differences is the ‘Zionist power’. On the occasion of this #Eid_al_Fitr, we pray to God to grant us so much strength and unity that we may behave in accordance with the teachings of the #Messenger_of_God, so that we may attain His pleasure.”
