New Delhi, 3 July. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the devotees going on the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra and wished that their journey be safe and auspicious. He said that Shri Amarnath Yatra associated with the darshan of Baba Barfani is an eternal chapter of India’s spiritual tradition and cultural unity.
Special letter written to devotees
PM Modi told that he has written a special letter to the devotees going on Amarnath Yatra. In this letter, he has linked this holy pilgrimage with five resolutions and has called upon the devotees to adopt them in their lives.

The journey started today Will end on 28th August
Shri Amarnath Yatra began on Friday amid tight security arrangements and will end on August 28. It takes about four days to reach the temple via Pahalgam route. The route from Baltal is short and can be returned on the same day after darshan.
